Make sure emails from Skytona reach you
Two minutes of setup so proposals, invoices, delivery notices and replies from your Skytona team land in your inbox, with the pictures showing.
Why a message can land in spam
Mail providers are cautious with senders they have not seen before. The first invoice, booking confirmation or gallery notice from Skytona can be filed as spam or junk even though you asked for it, and a company mail filter may hold it for review. Once your mailbox knows the sender, the rest arrive normally.
Everything from Skytona comes from an address ending in skytona.com: the person you work with, the studio address for project messages, and the billing address for invoices and receipts.
Two minutes of setup
Do the step for the mail app you use. Each one tells your provider that skytona.com is a sender you want.
- 1GmailOpen any message from Skytona, press the three dots, choose Filter messages like this, type skytona.com in the From field, press Create filter, tick Never send it to Spam, then Create filter. If a message is already in Spam, open it and press Not spam.
- 2OutlookOpen any message from Skytona and choose Junk, then Never Block Sender's Domain. In Outlook on the web, go to Settings, Mail, Junk email and add skytona.com under Safe senders and domains.
- 3Apple MailOpen a message from Skytona and add the sender to Contacts. Mail trusts anyone in your contacts. If a message is in Junk, select it and choose Move to Inbox.
- 4A company mailboxIf your organisation runs its own mail filter, ask your IT team to allow the domain skytona.com. Filters that hold first-time senders release everything after that.
Reply once
Replying to the first message, even with a single word, does the same job as the steps above. Your provider treats a sender you have written to as wanted.
Pictures showing as empty boxes
Outlook and many company filters hide pictures from senders they do not know yet, so a photo or logo in a signature shows as a placeholder. Nothing is broken on either side. The same safe-sender step above fixes it, or choose Download pictures at the top of the message once.
Still missing a message?
Check Spam or Junk, and in Gmail the Promotions tab, then mark the message Not spam so the next one arrives normally. Your portal always has the current copy: invoices, proposals and deliveries live there whether or not the email arrived. If you still cannot find it, contact Skytona and say which message you expected and when.
